As dreadful as it sounds, weight gain has become a widespread phenomenon. People are obliged to live inside their homes. The self-confinement is new for a huge chunk of the population across the world. Nobody knows how to deal with it. More than our minds, our body has begun to show the aftermath of it. Maintain a distance from your kitchen: You may have noticed that when you take your work to the kitchen, you binge more than usual. It’s intuitive to reach out to a packet of chips, nachos, chocolate, etc., lying right in front of you. Therefore many health experts recommend staying far away from the kitchen to control your urge to eat.

Drink herbal tea: Avoid adding milk to the tea because it contains lots of fat, especially buffalo milk. You can use vegan milk instead. But drink tea at least twice or thrice a day. Drink black tea, green tea, oolong tea, white tea, or whichever tea you like the most. The antioxidants in green tea are known for suppressing the appetite.

A glass of water works magic: Drink a glass of water before eating your meals. When you drink a glass of water, you avoid the risk of overeating because water makes you feel full quickly.
Set a time-table: Lastly, it is always better to eat according to a time table than eating randomly. Decide beforehand what you are going to eat and when you are going to eat. Following the same schedule of eating each day keeps you safe from many adverse health conditions like indigestion, and it also helps you manage your weight.
