- Display size should be between 11 – 15.65 inches with a display resolution of 1366*768 Pixels.
- Graphic memory is optional and could be from 0 MB to 512 MB.
- Operating systems should ideally be Windows 7 and above or Linux.
- It should have a USB 2.0, USB 3.0, VGA port, eSATA port, Headphone and microphone ports, Card reader slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Webcam and HDMI/ micro HDMI port.
- It should also come with a standard 1 year warranty on standard parts and labor.
An ideal Laptop should give you a bright, high resolution touch screen and a good powerful 8 hour battery life. It should work as a complete replacement of your heavy Desktop giving you the feel of a owning a sleek machine and at the same time giving you better output than the smaller gadgets in the market.

Laptop is a perfect replacement for a Desktop. To my concern, nothing can replace it. I agree with the fact that it cannot be carried in the pocket, but it does provide us soo many benifits; laptop is my best buddy 🙂 Very nice post UK.

I am planning on getting the Macbook air 11′. And totally confused now. Its for personal use and for writing and photographs. Do you think the space of 128 GB will be alright?
Yes Sonia, 128 GB would be just fine if you are not a heavy user and only write and store photographs. In case you are fond of storing them for a longer period even after posting them and if you click photographs like mad, then keep an external 1TB hard drive to back up all data and snaps.
