Charcoal Biryani – A honest Review.
Charcoal Biryani is delivering food across the city through their various outlets. I could taste the Chicken Tikka Biryani and the Afghani Kebabs from their Koperkhairane outlet.
The Food is hot as it comes and when you open it, we know it’s made fresh and served hot. I liked the Aggani starter more than the Biryani. The kebabs were well marinated for a good number of hours and were on the spicy side which is expected from them. The smoky flavor made it more appealing. They were moist and juicy too. Some more hours of marination would have made them perfect. The quantity is about 6 pieces for Rs.250/-
The Chicken Tikka Biryani was nice and average. It was well balanced and sober. It was mild like claimed and was well cooked. The quantity is enough for an average food eating person. Price 250/-
Plus and Minus
To start with the Plus, they are serving in a decent time, which reflects well on their service. The packaging is nice and gives a professional look. When it comes to foodies like me who look at authentic taste etc, then the Afghan Kebab pass with good marks, but the Chicken Biryani gets a backseat because of the mildness. There is always scope for improvement and the chef should spend more time on marinations to get the best out of the dish.
