Coronavirus has taken over the world by storm. Everyone from children to older adults is talking about it. Discussion about the spread of the virus, frontline warriors, and the preventive measure has become a talking point in every corner of the world. While the situation is enigmatic for all of us, few people have decoded the virus’s characteristics and shared certain life-saving measures to stop the spread and things to do if someone contracts the virus. We will call them Corona Saviors.
Wear a Mask
Make it a habit to put on a face mask every time you step out of your home. When we say mask, it doesn’t refer to the N95 mask. You can cover your mouth and nose with a hand made mask. We have less stock of N95 masks, leave it for frontline warriors. So masks become our first Corona Saviors.
Practice Social distancing
In the first place, you shouldn’t leave your home but if you have to, make sure you keep a minimum distance of 1 meter between you and other people. Avoid gathering in a crowded place. Our habit of distancing is also a part of corona saviors.
What if you catch the infection?
Cough, cold, difficulty breathing, fever, body pain, and loss of taste are the dominant symptoms of COVID-19. But there are a large number of asymptomatic cases. If you have had close contact with anyone who has been recently diagnosed positive, consider consulting with your doctor over a phone call. Follow the doctor’s advice carefully.
Now, if you feel sick, report your doctor immediately with details of all the symptoms. A doctor with an MD degree is ideal for consultation. The doctor will recommend a few medicines based on symptoms or ask you to hospitalize yourself if your case is critical. Make sure the hospital you are going to follows WHO guidelines and has all the essential amenities. Visit the state health ministry website to find out if your hospital is registered to treat COVID cases. There are many governments as well as private hospitals that treat the cases. Decide your budget and then choose your hospital accordingly.
