The Event

The first launch was done in Hyderabad City in the Plush Taj Deccan at Banjara Hills. The Media and social media were present for the launch and I was one of the lucky one to be part of this epic launch.Mr.Sujit Patil – VP & Head of Corporate communications, Godrej started the Panel discussion which comprised of Ms. Shampa Nag, Mr. Sunil Kataria, Mr.Jayant Deshpande and Dr.Sai Praveen Haranath. Ms. Shampa Nag is a Consultant of Caritas, a grassroots level development and social organisation.Mr. Sunil Kataria is the CEO, India & SAARC, Godrej Consumer ProductsLimited. Dr. Sai Praveen Haranath is Consultant Intensivist and Pulmonologist, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. Mr. Jayant Deshpande is the Secretary and Director of HICA (Home Insect Control Association)

The Discussion

The panel discussion revolved around the harmful pesticides being used in making illegal mosquito killing agarbattis. These brands neither have proper licences not have appropriate permissions and use the loopholes of the system to carry on the business. There was also a reference of a Raid conducted on one such manufacturing Unit in Telangana some days back. The Brand Brahmastra was launched on 3rd December  2018 in Hyderabad as the first Natural Agarbatti to fight mosquitos by Godrej. I enjoyed this event thoroughly with my Hyderabad Influencers family.
