How to do make Kaadha at home

India has a variable climate throughout the year and with the fluctuating temperature come to a host of diseases, most commonly the seasonal cough and cold. I am sure the common cold is something that at least one member of the household catches with seasonal change. India then looks at the homemade Concoction, the infused mix – Kaadha.

The discomfort of the stuffed nose, headache and sneezing often urge us to pop over-the-counter pills. However, in the long term, these pills have side effects on our body. The common cold is a viral infection and goes away only after the virus has run its course. So, we mostly need only symptomatic relief that can be well attained through natural means as well.

Here, in this write up we will tell you about the most efficient home remedy that has been consumed in India for generations—with proven results and devoid of side-effects “Kaadha”. It is basically a concoction that is infused with herbs and spices and has natural medicinal properties.

  3. Bring it to a boil until the quantity of water is reduced to nearly half. It will take about ten minutes on medium heat. Make sure you have covered the lid of the saucepan, otherwise the essence of the herbs and spices would escape.
