Paint me Wild!

The fantastic concept of Bed, bath and More appealed to me to choose and decide for a makeover of my house. I sat down early morning when the thoughts are pure and clear and your mind is not diluted with the daily activities. It is very important that you sit down to choose the makeover of your house at sunlight. I did so and felt the results were fantastic.

Let us first look at my dream Drawing room.

The color contrast of the Seating and the walls itself appeals to begin with. The Dusted pink has many advantages to it. It is never too vibrant and never too dull. Any person coming In the house is first seated in the drawing room and hence drawing room plays a very important role in deciding the visitors opinion about us and our personality. My theme and color signifies a warm look and welcomes the visitor, but at the same time the darker shade shows that I am the owner of the house and will always remain in command in these four walls. So the person visiting me too will have to keep in mind never to misbehave or over-react in any situation as long as he is in my house. The natural light coming from the windows during daytime and the lights during night time are ample to give a sense of freedom and breathe easy feeling to one and all. No visitor would be bogged down by the aura in the room, nor would take things too lightly. So I feel this theme and color combinations are a near perfect balance.

Let us now look at my Bedroom.

The reason to chose this color combination  is very simple. We are now living in a concrete jungle and greenery is rare to be seen. Every morning what a person desires is to see the sunrise from his window/balcony as soon as he gets up and some greenery around. My room does exactly the same. The windows throw fresh sunlight in the morning to wake me and my family up and then we see fresh green colors around in the morning to make the day more pleasant. The Ethnic jade theme would be appropriate for my bedroom.  IF the house inmates are pleasant then they will ensure that all visitors are greeted and treated pleasantly so this is a very important room in the house. I would accordingly plan and do other rooms too using the Lemon cooler theme for my Kitchen and Grecian Blue for the Bathroom.  I am thankful to #PaintFinder, BlogAdda and Bed Bath & More to give me this opportunity to visualize how to do a complete makeover for my house and I look forward to use it soon when we re-do the interiors of the house.
