I happened to witness the shortcut through FilmCity Goregaon which took me to a #ShortSafari thanks to BNHS ( Bombay Natural History Society), Film City and the entire team of Mr.Amitabha Singh, who conceptualized this unique “Walk in the Woods” to take all of us close to mother nature and present the opening animated music composition of this Movie which we all could relate in a better fashion. When I say ‘We all’ that means the entire team of Mr.Amitabha Singh, who is a well known Cinematographer of Khosla ka Ghosla, Chillar Party and The Good Road which went up to the Oscars. The gentleman is a down to earth person who mingled with us and all the Children. Wait a moment! Where did ‘Children’ come from ??
Well the Team Shortcut Safari had involved Nehru Nagar Public School, Kanjurmarg which had sent 30 of its students to experience the nature trip with us. So at about 11 am on 13thFebruary, we started the walk divided into two teams and followed two different Jungle trails where the BNHS officials showed us various plants and gave some valuable information about the nature.
I was impressed myself to see this small Jungle so close to city limits and yet maintaining its peace and calm. We were told by the officials that Leopards and Deer frequent the place during evening hours.
Our walk finished in an hour and a half, post which we were shown the Animated track of the Movie which was more like a curtain-raiser of the interesting movie Shortcut Sarafi.
The kids and the bloggers both enjoyed the trip with many selfie moments.
I am sure all went back with sweet and beautiful memories of the Event. I definitely look forward to attend the screening of this film if invited and do a review on the same.

I showed the clip to my little one and she was all smiles. I guess she understood the language…:)…..the kids must have asked a lot of questions, I guess. Do share what they thought about the trip UK.
The kids asked so many questions to the BNHS officials..OMG.. They had all sorts of queries possible under the sun. they were a lovable lot, well mannered and for a change we were called Bhaiya and Didi instead of Uncle and Aunty. 😀
