My old forgotten hobby is coin collection. I know I am sounding like a school kid, but yes, this hobby of mine was nurtured at a very early age and continued till college days. I had a collection of coins from over 100 countries then and I recollect I actually had many visitors coming in to see only my collection. With passing time and pressure of studies and later career, I actually forgot about the same and my family members showed a lion heart in gifting them in bits and lots to all who wanted these precious coins (precious to me at least) Now what’s left is a few coins which were tucked away somewhere and somehow survived all these years. Since this topic came up I took them out and clicked a few for all to see. I am thinking of taking up this hobby seriously again, actually got hold of a few coins too.
Wish those days came back… wish I had the same enthusiasm to collect the coins. It’s one of the best hobby which I feel most of us tend to have at some point or the other in life. My only advice to all is keep a hobby close to your heart and maintain it as a hobby till you live and you will never regret like I do today.

Coin collection is indeed a very enjoyable and satisfying hobby 🙂
As a child used to enjoy visiting historical places and used to collect tit bits from there like stone carvings, the hanging diyas or even stones from that place. It used to remind me the glory of the bygone era 🙂
Why not a post on it then? 🙂
I recall collecting stamps… fond memories! The post made me remember that!
I am sure a part/whole of the stamp collection must be there somewhere if you try to find it… 🙂
