Churchgate Train derailed 28th June 2015

A Local Fast Train running from Bhayandar to Churchgate went over the buffer at Platform number 3, injuring a few passengers at about 12 noon today. The damage to the coach is heavy and the passengers in the train were scared for a few moments after the impact. preliminary observation is that the brakes failed and hence the motorman could not control the halt at the station.

      1. A friend sent it in one of our whatsapp groups Ravish. I feel he got it from a CCTV footage though the source is not confirmed, hence no credits given this time.

      There is no plan B for such a situation with the fact that the motorman could do nothing except watch helplessly..

  1. I have traveled by these like all my life…..well no one was injured so its cool….i found it amusing when the woman cooly gets down the womens’ compartment….Spirit of Mumbai 🙂
