Box8 – Review

Box8

Box8 is delivering food across the city through their various outlets. I ordered one from the one close to my house to check the taste and quality of the food. The concept is good where you can place orders through phone or online. They guarantee a 38 mins delivery and were on time. Let me first tell that the service is Bang on time and the ‘sooperman’ delivering the food reaches a minute or two before the scheduled 38 mins delivery time.These are mostly food parcel pick-up joints so we cannot expect seating and décor here.

Food

The Food is hot as it comes and when you open it, we know it’s made fresh and served hot. The food has to be consumed in an hour after it reaches so please make a note of it. I ordered some wraps, which were good and I would recommend a Veg Tandoori Mix wrap and the Chicken XXL wrap for the non vegetarians. The quantity justifies the price.

I ordered some Biryani’s too, and I would recommend the Shahi Paneer Biryani for Vegetarians and the Murg Dum Biryani for others. The quantity justifies the price.

I ordered Moong Dal Halwa and Chocolate Brownie in Desserts. The taste is good but, the price is slightly higher for the quantity they give.

I also checked the Ice cream and the coconut Pineapple is a must try. The price is slightly higher than other family packs, but the taste is awesome and I would not want to taste any other ice cream if given a choice in the near future. For most of the dishes the quantity is okay for the price and one does not feel its overpriced. Congrats #Box8.

Plus and Minus
To start with the Plus, they are serving in 38 mins as promised, which makes life easy when one needs food. When it comes to foodies like me who look at authentic taste etc, then the issue arises where we always feel that improvisation has a scope. Apart from that, no other minus.

Overall, I would give 4.5 stars in all.
