Go Cheese had organised a Cheese tasting Event in Mumbai and the same was scheduled on 28th November. The Go cheese Tasting Event turned out to be a vibrant and “cheesy” event at the Blue Frog, Lower Parel at 3.30 pm with a full house of over 100 Bloggers from all over attending the Event.
The Ambiance, the music and the tasting happened all in sync and Go Cheese showed that you don’t need to necessarily run a contest to Trend on Twitter.
The show started sharp at 3.30pm with Angad Singh our own ‘pirated Sardar’entertaining the crowd with his stand-up and the entire atmosphere in the café eased out.
Mr.Mahesh Israni came over next and gave beautiful and valuable insights on the Company’s future plans. The company, which started in a humble little village called Manchar in Pune District collecting milk only on the “Milk Holidays” (the milk co-operative’s would not collect Milk from farmers on one day in a week to strike a balance between demand and supply) today boasts of the largest Raw cheese production capacity of 40 MT per day in India.
It was then time for Chef Ranveer Brar to take the podium and start the Tasting Event. His immense knowledge on the subject and his personal interest in various types of cheese amazed me. Since I personally love cheese and prefer reading a lot about the cheese world, I could immediately connect with what he was speaking.
The Event started with the platters and wine coming to each table and the Chef suggested the combinations to be tried.
Some extremely talented food bloggers cum foodies asked very valid doubts and points to the chef and he too was able to answer all of them satisfactorily.
The Chef also recommended the newly launched GO ALMETTE to be tried by consumers.
The Event ended at 5.30pm on a happy note with the Chef giving bites to the Media.
Being an Event planner myself, I was personally impressed with the organizing of the Go Cheese Tasting Event. Kudos to the entire Go cheese team for organizing such a crisp Event.
