Chotte Kadam to a Healthy Heart

Staying Fit, being active, eating fresh food and being happy always are the fundamentals of a healthy life. Being a Food Nutritionist, I am often approached by many asking me what should they specifically do in order to have a healthier heart. I normally look at their current eating habits, their lifestyle and their kitchen aids before suggesting them changes in their diet.

Personally, I have been using Saffola Oil for over 20 years now and I have seen constant improvisation and efforts from them to keep their consumers more active and make their heart stronger. I myself have experienced a more active myself ever since and even at 40+, I still work out in the gym for over 2 hours thrice a week, thanks to eating better food with one of the best oils in India for cooking. This change in me did not happen overnight and I took #ChotteKadam towards achieving my target of a healthier heart.

First, I improved my diet by discarding any and every street food which used to consume. I relied on cooking myself with Saffola Oil. I reduced the quantity of spice and salt in my food and I preferred stir fry greens to meat. I started going to the Gym and jogged regularly, keeping myself active always. Once I had done these two, I felt happier and inspired to help others lead a similar life. I encouraged many to give up outside food and cook for themselves, thus bringing more smiles every year.

On the occasion of World Heart Day, as a successful Food Nutritionist I am joining the Saffolalife #ChhoteKadam initiative in association with BlogAdda and follow these small steps for a healthy heart and helping many who come to me asking for a diet plan to give them a healthier heart. I recommend them to stay active and reduce the use of vehicles for short distances. I encourage them to walk it down. I ask them to give up on the untimely eating and junk food eating habits and get in the habit of eating home made healthy food made with the best oil in India. I insist they use fresh greens more In their diet compared to red meat, reduce the spice and salt content to make a healthy meal. I also suggest them to take lighter meals a day against two heavy meals which they typically take. This helps the body to remain lean and fit. Once they are able to do this, they automatically are on the path of being happy and come back to me only to thank me for the advice I gave them.
