Bangda Fry (Mackerel)

Take 4 Medium sized Fish. Remove heads of the Mackerels.

Apply deep slits on the fish body 3 on each side.

Apply salt, red chili powder and turmeric evenly in the slits.

Apply the paste over the entire body of the fishes.

Marinade for 30 mins to 4 hours depending on when you need the same.

Take a shallow frying pan and put 2 tablespoon oil.

Heat well.

Apply lemon juice on the marinated fish.

Dip the marinated fish in Dry Semolina (both sides)

Put in the pan and put the flame on low.

After a few minutes turn sides and fry well.

Don’t deep fry it (not needed actually)

The shallow frying does the trick.

Add little more oil if you feel the fish has absorbed all after turning sides.

Once the fish is golden brown, remove from pan and put on a Tissue paper.

let the oil get drip out.

Serve hot with garnishing of coriander and Lime.
