The wine is Shiraz Cabernet Silver with an alcohol content of 13% vv. This is produced by Somanda Vineyards and Resorts Pvt Ltd and is priced at 370/- for a 375 ml bottle. It is medium bodied and is Semi-dry to Dry wine type with decent dark fruit flavors and a dark red color with a faint tint of Purple. Once you sniff it, you can inhale the dark fruit aroma in it. It has a deep, sweet flavor which remains in the mouth as you roll the wine around your tongue inside the mouth and leaves an impression as it flows down the throat. This typically should be paired with Barbeque and grilled dishes or North Indian Spicy food due to its unique taste of slight black pepper and spicy flavor along with the taste of plums and berries and a longish oak like flavor. I personally liked the wine except that I would have wanted the spiciness to stay as I pair it with my food. The Okaish taste in the end makes the previous impact flat and the original taste is lost. The wine should be left open for aeration for 20-30 mins for best result and not advised to be consumed immediately after pouring in the Glass. Always remember to sniff the wine, swirl it and then roll each sip in your mouth before drinking it. Trust me, it adds to the pleasure of drinking wine.

Will try this one U K…. I always had Sula brut!!!
Yes, Do give it a try. The Original one is Shiraz Cabernet Gold. Since I was sent a bottle with a ‘Silver’ written on it, I mentioned it as Silver though i understand that it was a batch printing mistake for some bottles. 😀
Hic..hic..hurrah..from a teetotaler..
😀 Sunita..
Nice description. I never enjoyed anything else other than Vodka. Now I will be shifting to wines because of the age factor and these points will be handy. Thanks
I am glad it helped.. 🙂
