IPL Cricket Special – SRH Meat balls

IPL fever is ON (though not like previous editions), so here is one to cheer Team Hydrabad.

Chicken Meat Balls

Half cook about 500 gms mutton and remove the bones.

Dice the chicken and roll with some bread crumbs and soya powder to make small meat balls.

Add little salt while making balls and keep aside.

Masala

Fry 2 finely chopped large onions with  50 gms of fresh grated coconut in a tablespoon of oil.

Add 1 tablespoon Garam Masala to it and fry till it becomes brown.

Grind and make a thick paste and keep aside.

Making of the SRH Meat Balls

Take 2 large tablespoons of oil in a Pan.

Add 15 chopped garlics, 1 teaspoon mustard seeds and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder.

Once the mustard seeds splutter add 1 medium cut onion and stir fry.

As the onion turns translucent, add the prepared Masala along with a Tablespoon of Tomato Puree.

Add 2 tablespoon red chili powder.

Stir well and add the meat balls to it.

Roll them well in the pan and cover with a lid for 5 mins on low flame.

Roll once again after 5 mins, cover the lid and cook for another 2-3 mins or till you get the desired look.

The meat balls will swell slightly when done and that is when you can remove them from the pan.

Add some lime for extra tangyness, Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot while watching SRH Match..:)
